Head to the Med
In this brilliant new collection, Dolce & Gabbana pays homage to the ancient majolica art from Caltagirone. This centuries-old ceramic tradition is the inspiration for the new line, which sees key pieces in bright blue and white. The patterns and ornaments borrow heavily from these Mediterranean ceramics and are repeated on many fabrics, from ultra-light chiffon dresses and silk twill pyjamas to jumpsuits and one-shoulder kaftans. In showcase is the Majolica-print charmeuse blouse, $1,775, and the Majolica-print poplin culottes, $1,095.

The summer trench
For an elegant summer coat that makes the perfect accompaniment to your busy social calendar this season, this linen trench from Genny is a fabulous pick. Its simple, straight fit adds subtle finishing touches and it features wide lapels, orchid badges as well as shoulder and cuff frog buttons. The dress's linen viscose blend, made with a denim effect, gives a subtle shine to the fabric, thanks to the use of lurex yarns. It also features a fabric belt, pockets with flaps and high side splits. $1,337
Gucci's first haute perfumery line – The Alchemist's Garden – is inspired by the science of alchemy and reimagines the path of transformation from lead into gold with the art of fragrance to create seven eaux de parfum. A hero ingredient is magnified for each scent: oud, amber, violet, iris, mimosa, rose and woods.
Part of the collection is this new masterpiece, the Eyes of the Tiger, which is an opulent amber extract blended with woody cistus resin and vanilla. The scent evokes Chinese mythology which connects amber to the soul of a tiger and embodies the feline's dangerous and sensitive nature. $330
