The hospitality group is set to launch eight properties in Saudi Arabia in the next four years, doubling its key count in the kingdom
Saudi Arabia presents one of the fastest-growing markets in the Middle East and Rotana is all set to expand its footprint in the kingdom. The hospitality group recently announced its expansion plans in the country and is on track to meet its ambitious goal of doubling the number of rooms it currently runs in Saudi Arabia over the upcoming years.
Rotana's expansion efforts are in line with the tourism initiatives set in the kingdom’s vision for 2030, with the hospitality group taking an active part in shaping the Saudi tourism sector. Commenting on the expansion plans and participation, Rotana's Chief Operating Officer, Eddy Tannous, said: "With ambitious developments and plans at hand, Rotana's continuous engagement showcases our commitment to shaping the future of tourism in the vibrant Saudi Arabia market."
The significant expansion plan includes the launch of eight new properties across the kingdom, bringing the total key count to 4,400 across 16 properties. The eight new properties include four Edge by Rotana and one Rayhaan by Rotana in Riyadh, Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar, Al Manakha Rotana in Madinah and an Edge by Rotana in Al Baha.
