COP28

🗓 November 30 - December 12, 2023 📍Dubai, United Arab Emirates

This month, the UAE will host the 28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). COP28 UAE will see world leaders take stock of its progress on the Paris Agreement – the international treaty on climate change that was adopted by 196 parties at COP21 in France on December 12, 2015.


Its overarching goal is to hold the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. This year's conference at Expo City in Dubai will provide a comprehensive assessment of the global progress since adopting the historic agreement and will also offer new measures that will bridge the gaps in addressing climate change.
