Maroon 5 live in Abu Dhabi

Swan Lake at Royal Opera House Muscat

Guangdong Acrobatic Troupe will bring its unique retelling of the ballet masterpiece Swan Lake to Royal Opera House Muscat. The Chinese company will play the final three dates of the current opera season, from Thursday to Saturday, May 26 to 28, in an eye-popping display of dazzle and dare.

Blending acrobatics with classical Western ballet, the brilliantly choreographed and flawlessly performed show is a phenomenal adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and promises to be a dramatic close to the season, which marked a return to live performances for Oman’s Royal Opera House.

Cinco De Mayo

This annual festivity, with origins in Puebla, Mexico, is where tradition and history come together in the form of a colourful street party in the city’s boulevard. The annual event commemorates the Mexican Army's first victory over the French Empire in 1862. A reenactment of the Battle of Puebla is followed by a decadent street party with great food and music going from the morning, late into the night.

Cannes Film Festival
